About the APA

The American Poolplayers Association (APA) is the world’s largest amateur pool league. APA boasts over 270,000 members in the United States, Canada and Japan. With the Equalizer® handicap and scoring system, players of all abilities are able to compete on an equal playing field. Two National Championship events are held each year in Las Vegas—the National Singles Championships and National Team Championships—which together, pay out more than $1.5 million in prize money!

APA Leagues across North America host numerous events, including many for charitable causes.  PoolTogether.org highlights these charitable initiatives, locally and nationally.

We’re dedicated to letting the world know about the great causes our members are supporting, so feel free to use the Contact page to tell us your story. Please check back often for all the latest updates!
